My Twitter Weekend Wrap-Up

Paper.li is a tool that helps you publish your own online newspaper. How cool is that? You can create and publish your very own "Daily Planet" with news items of interest to you that might be of interest to other readers also.

So far I've generated four different papers - covering topics like freelance writing, Pinterest, home business or work at home articles, tips, etc.

paper.li logoUsing the Paper.li publishing tool, each week (set to the date to every Sunday), a newspaper is published which summarizes my Twitter activity - not all, just some highlights.

This week's publication for Sunday, April 26, these are the headlines:

  • 10 Businesses You Can Run from Anywhere on Earth (And Start Today)
  • Confessions of a Cookbook Collector
  • Naples: The Birthplace of the Modern Pizza
  • Citrine Earrings
  • The Best Thai in Middle Tennessee

You an also look at some of the previously published editions by clicking on the Archives. They aren't all Sunday editions. Tried different days and then finally settled on Sunday mornings. You can subscribe to receive weekly updates via eMail, if you like.

How Pinterest Uses Your Content Without Violating Copyright Laws | readwrite.com (2012)

  • Pinterest, the increasingly popular pinboarding social network, is able to present a visually arresting interface in large part by using copyrighted images pinned by users. "It's a huge concern for creative bloggers," said Amy Anderson, who blogs on the arts and crafts site Crafter Minds. "I don't think Pinterest does anything to help protect copyright besides removing content when people ask."

Glad to have saved these historical markers. It's 2015 and Pinterest has made its way to becoming a recognized reliable social media "facilitator".  Their success is phenomenal.  Keeping up with their business affairs because several months back, they invited me to create a free business account.  That was a gracious and generous offer to a struggling home business entrepreneur.  Even though this company has hit the "big time" (as Peter Gabriel would say), they still extended a helping hand  to "the little people" (like me).  With a current net worth of $3.8 billion, they have plans to continue moving forward.   Here is what they were up to in 2015:
