IF you had 50 trillion dollars to start your own country ...
Quora is considered as an intelligence community, where minds from around the world gather together to ask questions and get answers. Some of the questions asked are very specific and some are hypothetical presented as a “What If” scenario. This is my response to a “What If” question that was asked.
Question:
If you had 50 trillion dollars to start your own country, how would you start doing it?
My Answer:
$50 trillion is NOT enough to start my own country. My country would be the whole world. I need money enough to bribe everybody to live peacefully in a world without borders. ❤☺
(This response was also shared via MyLot.com. This is a social site where you can make friends and earn money sharing your opinions, observations, etc. Same thing you do on Facebook or other social media only they pay you "a penny for your thoughts". Joined the site two years ago. It's loads of fun! #EarnExtraIncome)

Dr. Dobson's Parenting Advice is Proven
Dr. James Dobson is a well-known psychologist who specializes in advice on parenting (especially for new parents).
Focus on the Family, his non-profit ministry provide counseling and resources on marriage, parenting and other family matters; and he has also authored several books on these topics.
Dr. James Dobson is a well-known psychologist and the founder of Focus on the Family, a non-profit ministry that supplies advice and resources on marriage, parenting and other family matters. He describes two types of children: the compliant child – an obedient child that heeds good advice and follows a path to peace; versus the defiant child – who is the exact opposite. He says most children are “in between” those two extremes.
You see children must realize that one day if they live, they will be the same age as mommie and daddy. If they have children of their own, mommy and daddy will no longer have to explain why the “rules” were so flipping ludicrous!! There are many who claim to have programs that work if you happen to be raising a difficult and trying child. Some of them will even offer you their programs free of charge. Quite frankly, everybody has to wade through those muddy murky waters on their own. What may work for your family could cause chaos and mayhem in another person’s home. So tread very cautiously.
I can tell you that as a young parent, reading the Dobson books was extremely helpful. Many who might not be of the Christian persuasion probably steer clear of his writings. But the advice he offers is very generic and can be applied regardless of one’s religious beliefs or nationality or ethnicity.

Residual Income : Social Sites That Pay (A 2nd Look) - Update #2
ForumCoin Sign Up is free.
This post supplies a contrast and comparison for three (3) different sites: two of them are (in my mind) blogging communities and the other one is more like a discussion forum or a micro-blogging platform/social network.
These are my profile links:
BlogBourne (member since August 2016; signed up because a friend asked me to);
LiteracyBase (member since July 2016); and
- myLot (member since August 2015).
Earn Residual Income :
Join Social Sites That Pay
When I say that I'm taking a second look, I mean that a reevaluation or a second evaluation is in order.
BlogBourne is a site where many of my fellow friends and bloggers are actively publishing and commenting. It must be a worthwhile effort. Otherwise, why would they continue to stay there? However, for me, navigating the site to find topics of interest to me feels a tad bit awkward. Also, to get a post approved, 400+ words are required. For these reasons, my activity at this site is not very frequent.
By contrast, my efforts at Literacy Base and myLot are much more rewarding, and as such, I login to my account almost every day. There is always something to be done, in addition to blogging, at either of these sites that can generate some extra income.
In fact, myLot doesn't even require blogging. But if you wanted, you could describe your activity as micro-blogging. Starting a discussion there is very similar to composing a short Tweet. (A short Tweet? That's a redundant expression, isn't it? I apologize. :) )
To get a post approved at Literacy Base, 300+ words are required. For some reason, it seems easier to write 300 words than 400. (It's psychological. I'm a fruitcake! ) But you can easily earn from contributing to forums and groups, updating you wall (or timeline) with a quote or some random comment, leaving comments at blog posts published by others, etc.
- NOTE: To be fair, you also don't need to blog at BlogBourne. You can be active in the same way as on Literacy Base.
With Literacy Base (cash out at $10) and myLot (cash out at $5) - look up at the right hand corner of your screen and you can immediately see your earnings. With BlogBourne (cash out at $10) you have to calculate what you've earned by multiplying your accumulated coins by the exchange rate. (Not sure what the exchange rate is. It's probably best if you ask the BB site owner directly or click here to read a post by a blogger who is a member at both sites.)
Two final remarks:
(1) The communities have really nice members.
(2) If you are a newbie blogger, these sites are a great place to get started. If I could go backwards, I would have started my blogging attempts at sites like these. Eh! Live and learn! My pain is your gain.

Having Fun At Read.Cash and Noise.Cash ~ Learning and Earning!
Have you heard of Noise.Cash? It's a fun social site where you can socialize, learn, and earn Bitcoin Cash. It is the partner site for Read.Cash. Both sites are fairly new. Read.Cash was launched in 2019 and the following year, 2020, Noise.Cash was launched. If you like publishing short posts (just like you do on Twitter) then you'll probably like Noise.Cash. If you're an artist or photographer, blogger, article writer, both sites are terrific for sharing your work. In other words, you can publish short posts, share images, or write detailed articles. The platform is very easy to use and you can start immediately!
First question you might ask:
- But if you are already on Twitter, why bother with Noise.Cash? Because you can earn Bitcoin Cash for your content; even if it's just your opinion. What do you earn for your tweets?
Second question you might ask:
- What's Bitcoin Cash? The answer is ... it's complicated. But the bottom line is that it's a form of cryptocurrency that you can earn, save or trade, or use to buy goods and services. If you sign up and create an account at both sites ... Read.Cash and Noise.Cash, you will learn a lot more about it. That's what I did!
My recommendation?
Create an account at Read.Cash first. Take a look at my RC profile.
When you create your account you'll see a banner at the top of the page suggesting that you also join Noise.Cash. I suggest you click on it. Take a look at my NC profile.
If you are curious to know more, check out the FAQ at Read.Cash. They explain it much better than I do. All I can say is that I've been there for less than a year and I have plans to stay!

Texas is Fascinating : Agree or Disagree
For those of you who don't know this, when people joke about everything in Texas being big, they're joking and they're telling you the truth. Grew up in South Florida but developed a fascination with the 28 th state admitted to the Union when I watched the movie "Giant" starring Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor, and James Dean.

Sites That Accept Republished Content (UPDATED)
Niume and Medium.
- The site owner for Niume passed away and nobody wanted to grab the torch and carry on this good work. Writers were told to export their content and find a new home for their work. Then the site closed its doors.
Image credit: Premium Bamboo Laptop Lap Desk of Extra Large Size. 100% Natural Bamboo Lapdesk Surface with Cushion and Handle. Can Be Used As a Mobile Desk, Bed Tray, Book and Writing Table.
Medium was launched in 2012 by two of the founders of Twitter.
Started republishing my previously published articles and blog posts at Medium about 3 years ago. Both sites Medium and Niume) are respected and enjoy a good online reputation. It is a good way to make your work more visible to the search engines and build your online reputation.
What I like about Medium is that the republishing process is simplified. You simply import your content, do a bit of editing and hit the publish button. You can introduce your content to a new audience and connect your social media accounts for simplified sharing as well.
"If you're not publishing on Medium, you're missing out on a huge potential audience for very little extra work."(Quote source: 10 Insanely Good Reasons You Should Publish On Medium)

Initiated my republishing efforts at Niume in 2017. My work efforts at this site were mentioned briefly in another post - Work at Home ~ Home Biz Projects : Another Weekend! - UPDATE #1. But that was in February 2017. Here it is just two months later (April) and not only is my previously published content considered acceptable for publication but they have also allowed me to publish some original content. In addition, several of my posts have been featured; what they refer to as "Staff Picked". This goes far beyond what I expected. Blogjob.com - Can First Impressions Be Trusted? (Post Final Update)
* * *
Link below to my post dated a year ago (September 21, 2015) and although my impression of the BlogJob blogging community is still good, one thing reported in the 2015 post has changed. The Rewards and Points program was discontinued. Other than that, it's all good!
After the announcement was made by the site owners that the cash incentive program was discontinued, many members left the site but a few remained. For me, it was a good decision to keep my blog up and running, for all the reasons listed in the previous post. Instead of moving my blog and republishing elsewhere, the name was changed from "Cmoneyspinner Keeps on Blogging" to "My Pain, Your Gain"; and the blog was expanded by adding pages listed below.

Update Dec 2017:
Blogs being published via BlogJob discontinued.
Published a final post at two of my blogs. It was a tough decision but sometimes you have to throw in the towel.

Eh! It happens more often than we would like. Fun communities and sites bite da dust!
The content below was published Oct 27, 2016.

My Twitter Weekend Wrap-Up
Paper.li is a tool that helps you publish your own online newspaper. How cool is that? You can create and publish your very own "Daily Planet " with news items of interest to you that might be of interest to other readers also.
Republishing Previously Published Content
Information for those who used to contribute to YAHOO Voices before that network was shut down. What many of us liked about the YCN (YAHOO Contributor Network) was that it accepted "previously published articles". What was really great was that payment was actually received for articles that had been sitting at another site for well over a year with almost nothing to show for it!
Earn Money For Publishing Short Posts
Daily Two Cents (dailytwocents.com ) is an online writing community very different from the others. It's pay-per-view, includes social networking, and allows the writer or contributor to earn 100% on their affiliate referral links. That's right! NO REVENUE SHARING!! You keep what you earn!

myLot.com - A Milestone and a Second Impression
- They added three social media share buttons: Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook.
- They made it much easier to add images to your post for pinning and also include a reference link, if you started a discussion but you want to refer your reader to additional information.
- They made it easier to hashtag your Tweets. When you generate a discussion, you can tag it appropriately. It is recommended that you choose up to 5 tags. If you tag your post and then Tweet it for sharing, the tags automatically convert to hashtags. That's a neat feature!
